RIPESS North America is the continental network of the Intercontinental Network for the Promotion of the Social Solidarity Economy (RIPESS).

The RIPESS network has it’s origins in Globalisation of Solidarity meetings: 1997 in Lima (Peru), 2001 in Québec (Canada), 2005 in Dakar (Senegal) and 2009 in Luxemburg.

Presently, RIPESS NA has four members : Canadian Community Economic Development Network (CCEDNet), Chantier de l’économie sociale du Québec, Groupe d’économie solidaire du Québec (GESQ) and US Solidarity Economy Network (SEN)
